The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will present a semi-staged production of Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute, during the period of 2-17 January 2017, conducted by Guillaume Tourniaire. Qualified singers are sought for the following roles:
Papagena (soprano)
Monostatos (tenor)
Speaker of the Temple (bass-baritone)
Three Ladies (3 sopranos)
Two Priests (tenor, bass)
Two Armoured Men (tenor, bass)
Three Slaves (2 tenors, bass)
Three Child-Spirits (children roles: treble, alto, mezzo-soprano)
Audition Requirements:-
1) An aria/song of your choice.
2) An aria/passage from The Magic Flute role(s) for which you wish to be considered.
3) Please bring your own pianist.
Venue: Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, Kuala Lumpur

The opera will be sung in German, with dialogues in English.
