i)  Viola, Double Bass and 2nd Trumpet: one solo piece and four excerpts from the repertoire list
ii)  Principal Timpani: Five excerpts from the repertoire list
iii) Percussion: One excerpt of each instrument from the repertoire list
 ** All solo and excerpts must be done in one video without editing and cut.

• Audition Procedure:

1. Macao Orchestra’s audition committee will screen all valid applications.
2. If your application is to be shortlisted, Macao Orchestra will make contact via Email within four weeks after the application deadline to arrange your live audition to be taken places in Macao in around April to May 2016.
3. Please note Macao Orchestra will not return all submitted materials to candidates.

Conditions

1. Terms and conditions of employment:

Full Time Musicians - Salary (gross, in Macao currency, MOP)
Section Principals: MOP36,113.60 per month.
Tutti Musicians: MOP28,590.00 per month;

1. This is a one-year or two-year contract. 
   *** All full time orchestra musicians are entitled to subsidies.

   The performance season runs from early September through to the end of July of the following year. The first 30 days of the first contract tenure will constitute a probation period.

2. Eligibility
   

   Macao Orchestra welcomes applications from experienced professional musicians.

   1. Completed at least one tertiary level musical degree (e.g. Bachelor of Music) in an institution of international repute.
   2. Be able to participate in English-language rehearsals.
   3. All other conditions being equal, preference will be given to holders of Macao Identity Cards.
