The contract of engagement will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Opera Singers in the Royal Danish Opera Chorus made between the Royal Danish Theatre and the Royal Danish Opera Chorus Union. The first 1 years of employment are on a trial basis and may be cancelled subject to one month's mutual notice.
The salary for singers in the Royal Danish Opera Chorus is fixed by seniority and ranges from DKK 24.653,08 up to DKK 34.888, 17 per month (level 01.04.2012).
Pension contribution according to union agreement.
In addition to one of the obligatory arias and both chorus excerpts, applicants are expected to prepare: an aria of their own choice.
The language of the obligatory arias and excerpts will appear on the music provided. All audition pieces are to be sung from memory. There will also be a piece of sight reading and ensemble singing.
