The job-specific monthly salary is €3215.26 (with 5-year professional orchestra experience supplement €3366.88). Also dress and instrument allowance.
Audition repertoire:
• Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 3 (G Major), No. 4 (D Major) or No. 5 (A Major): 1st Movement with cadenza
• A work of the applicant’s choice with piano accompaniment (preferably from a different period from the above work)
• Orchestral and chamber music assignments to be announced after the closing date for applications
Application deadline and auditions:
• The closing date for 2nd violin applications is Friday, 15 February, 2013.
• Auditions will be held in Helsinki at 10 am on Monday, 18 March, 2013.
Applications:
Applications should be accompanied by personal details and an account of previous experience and indicate whether the applicant wishes to use the accompanist provided by the FRSO (no opportunity to rehearse beforehand). Please note: All 2nd violin applicants must also state their choice of work with piano accompaniment!
